According to a report by Zoopla, just announced, properties in Poole occupy the first position in the top 10 highest value areas in Dorset, followed in 2nd position by properties in Bournemouth. Properties in Poole also occupy 9 of the top 10 positions of highest value streets in Dorset. The top position was Old Coastguard Road, Poole which averaged £1.928 million and was the highest value street of all properties in Poole and in Dorset.
The report also showed properties in Poole were starting to noticeably rise. Business Development Director of Zoopla.co.uk, Nick Leeming, said, "Despite the recent property market uncertainty, Brits remain obsessed with the value of their home as well as those of their neighbours, friends and family. This year's Property Rich List shows an ever-widening North-South divide and whilst house prices in some of the most expensive areas of the country have fallen a little over the past 12 months, they have held up far better than in many of the less expensive areas."
